Levis and Lace Raises More than $70,000 for Walk-In Care Clinic at Texas Health Azle
Approximately 300 guests gathered together at the Cowboy Hall of Fame in the Fort Worth Stockyards for the Levis and Lace benefit. Through sponsorships, ticket sales and auction items, the community raised more than $70,000 net to support the new Walk-In Care Clinic at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Azle.
The clinic, which will help relieve overcrowding in the Texas Health Azle emergency department, is slated to provide acute primary care services to patients without appointments. These services will be available to all members of the community regardless of their ability to pay.
Attendees enjoyed a Texas-style dinner and live music by the Freeride Band. Both the live and silent auctions sold out thanks to the generosity of the benefit’s guests.
Top sponsors for the evening included:
Country Swing Sponsors
Sarah and Alan Bennett
Debi and Kent Meyerhoeffer
Texas Two Step Sponsors
Debra and Jerry Jenkins
Janet and Jack Stevens
Tarrant Regional Water District
“I was honored when Bob Ellzey (president of Texas Health Azle) asked me to help this year,” said Debra Jenkins, 2013 chair. “The Walk-In Clinic will help so many people and it was a pleasure to serve with the hardworking committee.”
Levis and Lace is hosted by the Levis and Lace Committee and the Texas Health Resources Foundation.
